Our project

Rojava Medico International

ROJAVA MEDICO INTERNATIONAL is an international non-profit organization registered under Belgian law.

Is a democratic health association based on the values of social equality and peaceful coexistence among peoples. It's central office is located in Brussels-Capital.

Purpose and objectives

The purpose of the association is to develop international projects that can offer support to the victims of war and natural disasters, like earthquakes, floods, climate-induced famines, etc. and to provide these services on a voluntary basis.

Rojava Medico International (RMI) seeks to connect and network with medical associations worldwide, promote universal access to health, prevent disease, and prioritize natural medicine over corporate chemical drugs.

It aims to protect patients' rights by educating the general public within the framework of ethical and scientific medical knowledge, with the goal of reaching all segments of society, establishing contact with autonomous treatment centers, creating areas of cooperation based on common principles, and establishing communication with individuals and centers that have made significant advances in alternative medicine.

In order to achieve these goals, the Association will undertake the following activities on its own behalf or on behalf of its members, both in Europe and abroad:

- During crises and situations of humanitarian need, send logistical support, medical equipment and essential relief supplies – provided through donations, the Association's budget or other contributions – primarily to regions in need, such as the case of Rojava and Syria, including shelter needs.

- Ensure that medicines and medical supplies (donated or purchased) for use in health and shelter efforts reach those in need.

- Develop projects with health teams. Multidisciplinary work will be prioritized in areas such as war zones, disasters and crisis areas.

-RMI will use donations, assistance and regular contributions from its members to achieve the goals outlined in its charter. These collected funds will be directed to communities and individuals in the most disadvantaged areas with the least access to resources and opportunities.

Projects are developed and implemented with the needs of victims in war and disaster areas in mind.

Volunteer activists may also collaborate with local aid organizations active in the regions where they operate.

The Association may work in solidarity with other institutions and organizations with regard to the projects it develops, or provide scholarships and similar assistance to individuals who wish to help victims of war, disasters, famine, etc.

RMI may develop activities such as courses, seminars and conferences to inform victims living in camps or crisis areas through its professionals.

The Association can also work in coordination with non-profit and charitable organizations working towards the same goal.

The Association aims to work with doctors, nurses, nurse assistants, technicians and other health professionals, especially those in public service, and volunteer activists.

Conditions of membership

Candidates for membership must submit an application to the Coordination Board by mail or e-mail, stating their full name, profession and address.
